Please leave your best practices, resources and ideas... I can easily break the pages into content areas, or grade levels, or.... let me know!

Recommended reading: DO I REALLY HAVE TO TEACH READING: CONTENT COMPREHENSION by Cris Tovani. This is an interesting book that provides useful suggestions for looking at the process of reading in new ways. It helps teachers of content areas to recognize that they read their content area information in specific ways. Teachers can in turn teach their students their own strategies for managing content reading material.

RESOURCE: National Library of Virtual Manipulatives - offers interactive math activities for every grade level K-12, organized around the national math standards. These work great with a SmartBoard, but one is not needed to get the most from these activities. (T. Roach, Tech Integration)
